Investment and Property Potential

Look at what a property could become

Renovation, ADUs, multigenerational living, and long-term value, explored with the right questions and the right professionals.

How I think about property potential

Some of the best opportunities are not obvious from the listing photos. A larger lot, an underused garage, a floor plan that could work for two generations, or a house that could be far more efficient with the right updates can all change what a property is worth to you over time.

My job is to help you ask the right questions early, weigh them against what the property costs today, and know what has to be verified before you rely on an idea.

Questions worth investigating

  • Renovation potential. Which updates would change the value, the comfort, or the cost of running the home?
  • ADUs. Does the lot, the layout, and the access suggest an accessory dwelling unit is worth looking into?
  • Multigenerational housing. Could the floor plan or the lot support more than one household?
  • Lot characteristics. Size, slope, access, easements, and how the lot is used today.
  • Possible development opportunities. What might the property allow now, or in the future?
  • Rental performance. For income properties, what do rents, vacancy, and operating costs look like?

Verify before you rely on it. Conclusions about zoning, permits, feasibility, and construction costs require verification with the appropriate agencies and professionals, such as the city or county, a licensed contractor, an architect, or an engineer. I help you organize those questions and keep the process moving. I do not provide those opinions myself.

Sustainability in practice

I care about energy efficiency, durable materials, water conservation, adaptive reuse, and improvements that make homes more comfortable and economical to operate. I hold the LEED Green Associate credential, which gives me a working vocabulary for these conversations. It does not mean I provide engineering, energy rating, or building certification services, and I will point you to qualified professionals when you need them.

Where I am headed

My long-term professional goal is to expand into real estate development with a focus on sustainability and equitable community outcomes. Housing decisions affect access to opportunity, financial stability, and the character of the places we live, and I want my business to reflect that. For now, my day-to-day work is residential real estate for buyers, sellers, and investors, and that remains my focus.
